"The Missing Piece Meets the Big O" outen the friendship

The story “The Missing Piece Meets the Big O” by Shel Silver stein is delineation about one missing piece was finding another imperfect to match. And he met many different configurations but no one he could fit in. At last he meets the big o who told him “There is no place would you fit. You should roll by yourself.” So the missing piece became a roll by himself.

After I read this story I think it can represent “friendship”. Everyone has the defects of his qualities even though the saint. In the process those configurations which the missing piece met represent ones friends in his life. First he met the quadrate even he can fit in but it not the roll. That means they are always fighting because their concept might be different. So they can’t move. There is another can move but not fit in because their thinking, character, methods are different. And some might fit in but they didn’t know the method because their perception is dissimilitude. They are selfish that never care about others opinion. At last he met the big O who is a perfect one. So the missing piece was rolled by himself like people amend their blemish.

Wear away one’s sharp and be better to myself can make more friends.

About "On the line"

The story “On the line” is describes a calling for an emergency thing. Mrs. Washington was called a supervisor for help because a little girl was swallowed some pills. But when she called hospital to request an ambulance the operator refused her for she was not the client. Then she called the telephone company operator for help. At last they thought one way calling Mrs. Washington’s neighbors. The first phone call was no answer; the second phone call was a clammy man who said “It’s not my business". And the third phone call was Mrs. Thomas. She promised to see what happened. In the story the particular characters I choose was the supervisor who was enthusiasm. He or she was a good person to help others and never give up. But in the end Mrs. Thomas was looking at the scene before her, she realized what the emergency was. The story didn’t write what was the really emergency thing. It’s mystery and attracts me.

The story “On the line” pointed that how clammy people are in our society. The people in the story are unconcerned about the others. What they do really care about are themselves. In other words, they are all selfish. We could clearly see that people in the story except for the supervisor of telephone. Company with the neighbor Mrs. Thomas only thought that what responsibilities they may take if they accept the emergency request. They are so stubborn and selfish that they could not believe what the other said.

Summary Of "Change Roles:Stay-at-Home-Dads"

Now the world is changing with each passing day. Male and female are really different now to compare with the past. The gender roles are not to fix because it is more and more faire now. Man is already not the worker in the family he also can do housework at home. For example, a man also can take care of their children. And social scientists are studying the different from man see after children or another. They found that children's emotion and physical are developing in a different way under father's raising will be much better than under a mother's exclusive care. The child had better look after by parents rather than one of them. Because one of the parents may be spoil the child. If parents take care of them together I think one of them will be the teacher to teach the child. Father is as important as the mother in raising children' now. Raising children is not only the responsibility of the mother.

Summary Of "Piggy Book"

Mr. Piggott has two sons. Every morning Mrs. Piggott has to wake up early and prepare breakfast to her husband and two sons. When them go to work and school Mrs. Piggott already has many house works to do. Then she goes to work. Every evening when they get home Mrs. Piggott have to start too busy to their dinner. And Mr. Piggott and their sons never help her even complain she is too slow. Finally one day Mrs. Piggott doesn’t tolerate and leave home. Mr. Piggott and their sons at last mend. Now they are doing house works and Mrs. Piggott also has time to do things she likes.

My Favoriate Song

In my leisure times I like listening to music। Actually in the past I just listen to Chinese songs but when I major in Japanese I start to contact to Japanese drama। There is a song about love I had listened in a Japanese drama. The drama named 魔女の條件 and the song named "First Love".

The singer is 宇多田 光 who is a popular singer in Japan। She is twenty four years old and she was bored in America. 宇多田 光 had got married with a cameraman 紀里谷和明 but now is divorced. She likes to read, watch movies, draw, and brood.But most of all she likes the most is music. The reason why she likes music the most is her mother is a singer, too. And her father is a music producter.

宇多田 光's voice is very suit to interpretation this song। And this song is a torch song about a girl love-crossed. That was her first love and she still can't get over. The girl is recollected her first lover's smell of tobacco. She will miss the man until another lover. Her love is very deep.

The song is full of disconsolation। But I love it so much। This is my favorite song।
